"Evul Did".I love how kiwis pronounce "Evil Dead" ever since I heard Lucy Lawless doing it.
"Tying in the lore from the whole franchise", eh?Doohan still has several weeks to go filming Evil Dead Burn, the latest entry in Sam Raimi’s cult series, and while details are scarce, the actor promises the movie will please longtime fans while bringing a new perspective courtesy of its French director and co-writer Sébastien Vaniček, whose independent 2023 debut Infested was a striking and critically acclaimed horror film about an infestation of deadly spiders. “It does a really beautiful job of tying in the lore from the whole franchise and bringing it into this new film,” Doohan offers. “Sebastian is incredible. His first feature is really visceral and brutal, so he’s kind of the perfect next director to play in the Evil Dead world.”
They need to stop trying to do that. AvED tried to do it, Rise tried to do it - just concentrate on doing your own thing, that's my advice!Hunter Doohan briefly talks EVIL DEAD RISE in new Cero Magazine interview:

Three long years after the premiere of ‘Wednesday,’ the second season takes the murderous and monstrous Hyde in new directions, and the actor who plays him is just as excited as the fans to be back.www.ceromagazine.com
"Tying in the lore from the whole franchise", eh?
Agreed. Ash's story is complete, so stop trying to drag the new stuff into it when there's no logical (or legal) way to.They need to stop trying to do that. AvED tried to do it, Rise tried to do it - just concentrate on doing your own thing, that's my advice!
Got it from Evil Dead the Game Discord and trust me when I say that is one of the more normal shit that's going on in there. That's crazy. I'm glad I don't engage with fan communities much anymore outside of this site.
There is lots of people that buy into the "three Necronomicons" theory and genuinely want it to be a thing.
The one thing that really bums me out about the Internet popculture discourse (among other things of course) is that there can't be easter eggs in movies anymore, it all has to mean something. It can't be just a fun cameo that Bruce Campbell did one of the voices on the recording in Rise. No, it has to mean that it's actually Ash traveling through time again. Sigh…
