Don't know where to put this so I'll just put it here. Anyone here actually buying the new Blu-ray three disc edition? I mean this one. http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Evil-Dead-Trilogy-Blu-ray/dp/B00D9SRBUC/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1375063369&sr=8-6&keywords=evil+dead

Zavvi has the description here but I can't tell if any of the features are new or not? Like I don't remember any called At the Drive In or if the Make-up and Stop Motion ones in the ED 2 disc are new? I hate making blind buys! http://www.zavvi.com/blu-ray/evil-dead-trilogy/10811196.html

Only if it's available somehow in the US on Amazon. Otherwise I probably won't buy it. Also won't the discs be region locked?

I got off my lazy butt and did some research. 100% re-hashed material. Ha, I didn't even need to make this thread, I'm terrible. I'm definitely skipping out.

BUT it would be interesting to know more about that upcoming German edition right? Luckily there's a cheaper regular edition so I wouldn't have to cough up fifty euros plus simply because it has a box, a certificate and some posters. Big whoop. Though what's included in the booklet (new drawings by Tom? He did work on this release) and the extra cut in footage in standard definition is not really known. The trilogy is just plagued with new released sheesh.

For anyone else who's interested, it looks like it's a combination of the features from the Ultimate Edition (Evil Dead), 25th Anniversary (Evil Dead 2) and Bootleg edition (AOD).  I guess the big feature would be the having them all in a single pack on blu, but that isn't even close to the best package for AOD on the market.

@Elise - I'm semi-excited about the new German release, too.  If only because it might include some cleaned-up footage from the Mexican TV edit.  Still surprised it didn't make the 25th anniversary release.
